Le gallerie ed i vicoli della tua città...

The arcades and laneways of your city… How well do you know them?

In this 1.5 hour Italian WALKshop, we will walk through a selection of Melbourne’s renowned arcades and laneways. As we walk through these beautiful and eclectic parts of our city, you will be encouraged to try to use Italian to describe what you can see, the buildings around you and the directions in which we move.

This ‘walking workshop’ is intended to be a fun and active language learning experience in a real-life context, where the elements of the city’s environment serve as prompts to talk about and describe different things in Italian that you might not usually cover in your regular learning space. You will be provided with some printed materials on useful vocabulary and phrases for the session to help you get started and the WALKshop hosts will be there to support you along the way.

This small group session is open to learners of all levels of Italian.

The WALKshop will be led by Monica from Su Misura Italy, an experienced Italian tutor and native speaker, supported by Rebecca from Irregular Endings.

When: Saturday 17th August, 10.30am-12.00pm

Where: Melbourne CBD – meet on Degraves Street near the intersection with Flinders Street, outside Il Papiro (Shop 5 Degraves St, Melbourne VIC 3000)

What's included: 1.5 hour experience to practise Italian in the Melbourne CBD led by Monica from Su Misura Italy and printed WALKshop materials on useful vocabulary for the session

Tickets: $50 per person (+ booking fee)
